Last night I lofted and drawn one aft panel onto a plywood sheet. The minor bump of mismarking one of the dimensions reminded me to exercise patience. When I got home this evening I checked the "look" of the lines I drew last night. They look good. I decided to double-check the measurements - and they still agreed with the plans. So, I lofted and drew one forward panel. After re-checking the marks, I drew the lines, walked away from it for a bit, and came back later to make sure things are "right." They seem to be...
I drew a cut line between the two panels to serve as a guide for cutting the plywood in half before cutting close to the lines to cut out the panels. By the time I was ready to start cutting, I decided it was too late to fire up the saber saw. This is a nice quiet apartment complex and, I know I appreciate the peace and quiet, I didn't want to go upsetting anyone. I'll cut the panels tomorrow right when I get home. Depending on how that cutting goes I may have time to trim to the lines with the block plane.
Wednesday I can use this first set of panels as the pattern for the second set.
This is beginning to be real progress. I like it!

Nice job, keep it up! Nice job with the precision, but don't let it take over your mind-- slip ups can be fixed with epoxy!
